My trusty PRC-47, arrows point to the k4che variable frequency
control knob and to the light switch used to switch from USB to LSB.
The VFC works on both transmitt and receive a very easy mod and allows
the PRC-47 to tune up and down in frequency.
You can use it on 60 meters on 5371.5 to check into the M & S net
with the big boys.

We damn near ran out of men but had plenty of service metals left over.
The average age of the G.I. in 'Nam was 19 (26 for WWII) Only in the U.S.
would awards and metals wind up in "Salvage" and sold to the highest bidder.
Thousands and thousands lost and for what.
