                         Mystery Antenna Identified by KM6AB

Hi Breck, Saw your request on the VHF/UHF antenna info. Its a Telex Hy-Gain model 3903BA and covers 150 to 240 MHz. Some were supplied by Transcrypt International in the 1980s and 90s for their VHF frequency hopping radios, some were sold to the Israili MOD and a silver version is sold for use with VHF wireless entertainment microphones. Check Ebay item # 390143758721 for a new silver one from a commercial vendor. I have several of these antennas and attached is a pic of a label supplied on the shipping box. They work fine on 2m and 220MHz.
