Shown are a couple of military mikes. Ed by the way was a radio operator in the USAF and served in Korea.
Ed has an up stairs shack where he
can get in those quick QSOs.
A rotating historical library full of notes and clippings.
Downstairs in the main radio area, you
can easily tell if Ed is on the air.
The
main Op position, no microphone is present. But you can count three keys,
permanently fastened to the operating table and are shown below. The small
key is for the HW-8 QRP rig and was taken from a telephone test set.
