A small solder lug was fastened to one of the the wood ends for strain relief of the B+ pack wires.
Tie it off with lacing cord.
Connect the 9 volt batteries in series, use heat shrink, I like the heavy duty 9 volt connectors the best.

I fabricated a Power Distribution Center (PDC) and fastened it to the inside of the top cover of the battery. Shown is the top of the battery connector and the bottom of the connector and the PDC.

Use your Dremel tool to etch the PC board in three sections for your PDC. NOTE: The original wiring for the B+ line was removed and replaced with a brown wire. The original B+ wire in my pack was gray. The other wires shown are the original wires but be sure and check your connector and trace out the wiring.

If you use the original wiring be sure and check the solder joints on the connector and resolder all connections.
Leave plenty of wire on the filament and HV packs for ease of maintenance. I had to shave off some of the round connector housing for proper clearance of the 9 volt pack.
I love the smell of zinc chromate in the morning.
