I fabricated a simple cover to protect the battery and to help keep the
top closed because I didn't want anyone at Gilbert to see my niponeese batteries
that I bought at the dollar store.
Velcro is used for the fastener
The
cover wraps around the battery and uses a piece of velcro to hold it in
place. 
The
cover is easy to remove for rapid battery replacement in the field.
