              The AB-1371/G broadband FM VHF antenna was pressed into HF service by adding additional mast MS-116-118 mast sections. Not exactly the "correct" configuration but sure worked good.
 
            
        The AB-1371/G was tilted over for HF operations to prevent front end overload and possible damage to other equipment. Plus it would be in a better positon for NVIS.
